  • Recruitment Page of Trane’s Website By highlighting the positive experience of one intern, this feature helped the company attract the hard-to-find combination of sales and engineering talent it needs.
  • Indiana Jones – This article told the story of the proud history of service Lucent had inherited from AT&T through the adventures of one installer. Download article (PDF, 1.3 MB)

Publication Management

Encore, Diving for Dollars, Publication Managment Cathy Fee

Award-winning publication

  • Encore – I served as editor of AT&T’s retiree publication, which included managing the writing, photography and distribution. The publication, which won IABC and Clarion Awards, was mailed quarterly to an audience of 150,000 very interested retirees.

  • Going Global – I led a team that wrote, designed and distributed a one-time publication that explained AT&T’s global business to 175,000 managers worldwide. Survey data showed close to 100 percent positive reader reaction.

As a member of the new communications team, I wrote this article without knowing what the new name would be. It was distributed to employees electronically on the day the name was announced.
